## Our take

PING's 2026 wedge line, refining the S159 with new grooves, six grinds and Chrome or Raw finishes from 46° to 62°.

**What's great:** Tightly-spaced MicroMax grooves add greenside spin, it's plug-and-play consistent in bunkers and full swings, and it's a credible Vokey rival at a fair price.

**Worth knowing:** It's an evolution of the S159, not a revolution — if your current wedges still have sharp grooves you won't feel much, so buy on wear, not the badge.

**Verdict:** One of 2026's best wedges and the category where 'new' is genuinely justified — replace worn grooves with these and you'll get spin back.
