## Our take

A premium, fully-forged tour wedge with aggressive new grooves and a moisture-channelling RAW face, in six grinds for most players.

**What's great:** Softer, more connected forged feel than the MG4 with class-leading wet-weather spin consistency thanks to Spin Tread.

**Worth knowing:** Premium price, the RAW face rusts over time by design, and with six grinds a fitting matters.

**Verdict:** If you loved the MG4 you'll love the MG5 more — the forged feel and wet-spin gains make it one of 2026's strongest wedges.
