# Foresight GC3 vs Uneekor EYE MINI: Foresight's 43% cut now makes the GC3 the better box, and the EYE MINI still the cheaper GSPro room

> Foresight has marked its three-camera GC3 down by more than 40 per cent on its own US store and at PlayBetter, leaving it a short step above Uneekor's portable two-camera unit. The hardware case now favours the GC3. The software bill still favours the EYE MINI, by almost exactly the size of the discount.

## In short

- The Foresight GC3 is on sale at $4,000 on Foresight's US store and at PlayBetter, down from $7,000, with no published end date. Our log shows the same unit dipped and recovered in September, so treat it as a sale. That leaves it $1,000 above the Uneekor EYE MINI. Both read the same four club numbers for free, but the GC3 has a third camera, a lighter body and two years of warranty. On GSPro the EYE MINI is still $450 a year against the GC3's $850, so over five years it saves $3,000, which is the whole discount. Buy the GC3 for Foresight's numbers and Premier. Buy the EYE MINI for a GSPro room.

The [Foresight GC3](https://ifrothgolf.com/product/foresight-gc3-link) now costs $4,000. Foresight's own US store lists it under Current Specials at that figure, with the old $7,000 crossed out beside it, and PlayBetter shows the same two numbers under a banner promising a three-thousand-dollar saving. That leaves a three-camera Foresight unit $1,000 above the [Uneekor EYE MINI](https://ifrothgolf.com/product/uneekor-eye-mini) at $3,000. On hardware, that gap is now worth paying. On software, the EYE MINI is still the cheaper room to run, and over five years on GSPro the difference grows back to almost exactly what Foresight just took off.

## Is the cut permanent?

Nobody outside Foresight knows, so treat it as a sale. Foresight's product page labels it SALE and keeps the old price on show, and neither Foresight nor PlayBetter gives an end date. Our own log of PlayBetter's live US prices has caught this exact unit moving before: $7,000 in August, $6,000 on 5 September, back to $7,000 by 20 September, then $4,000 on our 24 October pull. The September dip was a promotion that ended inside a fortnight, which we wrote up in [every launch-monitor price move our log caught](https://ifrothgolf.com/read/launch-monitor-prices-moved-2026). This one is three times the size.

It is also big enough to have overtaken PlayBetter's own used stock. On the same day, its certified pre-owned GC3 was still listed at $5,000 and an open-box unit at $6,700, both dearer than a new one with a full warranty. If either was on your shortlist, take it off. One practical warning: Foresight's store sells to US addresses only and its terms charge a $250 fee for cancelling after 24 hours, while PlayBetter offers 30-day returns. Prices outside the US move on their own schedule, so check your own retailer before treating any of this as your price.

## Three cameras against two, and the same four club numbers

The GC3 uses what Foresight calls a triscopic high-speed camera system. The unit weighs 5lb, measures 6 by 5 by 12 inches, runs on a lithium-ion battery, connects over USB-C, Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and has a transflective LCD touchscreen on top. Foresight lists six ball numbers (launch angle, side angle, ball speed, total spin, carry, and side spin or spin axis) and four club numbers: club head speed, smash factor, club path and angle of attack. Club markers come in the box, and the warranty runs two years.

The EYE MINI uses two high-speed infrared cameras. It weighs 7.9lb, stands 15.8 inches tall, has its own battery and display, and talks to Uneekor's phone app and to an iPad app as well as to a Windows PC. Uneekor lists 15 ball outputs, plus putting analysis. Its own spec table lists four club numbers: club speed, club path, smash factor and attack angle. Face angle and impact point are marked as not measured. Uneekor recommends its club stickers for accurate club data and puts 1,280 of them in the box. The warranty is one year.

Put those side by side and the interesting thing is what the GC3's premium does not buy. At this tier both units read the same four club numbers, and neither reads the face. What the extra money buys is the third camera, Foresight's measurement lineage, a lighter and smaller box for range days, and a second year of warranty. The EYE MINI's longer ball list is mostly numbers calculated from the same few measurements, so do not let a count of 19 against 10 do your thinking. Its putting analysis and its iPad app are genuine extras, though.

## What you get for nothing, and the old GC3 promise

Both units read the club with no subscription. Foresight+ Free gives a GC3 owner ball data, club data and the core views in the Foresight app and Foresight Premier, with 10 sessions of history. Uneekor's free Player tier gives an EYE MINI owner ball data, club data, the VIEW virtual range and 100 Power U reports on one profile. For a net, a mat and a numbers screen, either one works out of the box.

That free club data is the line that hurts the [Bushnell Launch Pro](https://ifrothgolf.com/product/bushnell-launch-pro), the three-camera unit Foresight builds for Bushnell. It costs $3,000, but PlayBetter's listing says its club data needs a Silver or Gold subscription, and Foresight+ Silver is $200 a year. Five years of Silver on a Launch Pro adds up to $4,000, which is the GC3's sale price to within a few dollars. If you were going to pay for Silver anyway, the GC3 is the better buy at the moment.

One correction to make in public. When we reviewed the GC3 in August, its pitch was that every feature was included with no subscription. That is no longer how Foresight sells it. The box now includes a 30-day trial of Foresight+ Gold with Course Pass Pro, and Foresight+ is billed yearly. People who already hold an FSX licence keep it, according to Foresight's FAQ. PlayBetter's own FAQ still mentions an included FSX licence, so ask the seller in writing before you assume one. Our [GC3 review](https://ifrothgolf.com/read/foresight-gc3-link-review) predates the change.

## The GSPro room, five years out

This is where the EYE MINI wins it back. Foresight's FAQ says GSPro is supported only for Foresight+ Gold members, at $600 a year, and GSPro's own licence is $250 a year on top. That is $850 a year. On the EYE MINI, Uneekor's Pro tier at $200 a year opens the third-party connector, so the same GSPro room costs $450 a year.

Run it over five years. The GC3 route comes to $8,250 including the hardware, and the EYE MINI route to $5,250. That is a gap of $3,000, which is the size of Foresight's discount. The cut closes the hardware gap but does nothing to the yearly bill, and for a GSPro build the yearly bill is most of the cost.

Foresight's own courses tell a different story. Silver plus the basic Course Pass comes to $500 a year. Uneekor's nearest equivalent is its Ultimate tier at $600 a year, which unlocks GAMEDAY and its 40-plus courses and needs two displays. Over five years the GC3 route lands about $475 dearer, close enough that the hardware should decide it. And whichever you pick, budget for the PC: Uneekor publishes a Windows 11 machine with 32GB of RAM and an RTX 4070 Ti class card as its recommended spec, and we priced that whole problem in [the sim PC and software nobody budgets for](https://ifrothgolf.com/read/sim-pc-and-software-nobody-budgets).

## Who should buy which

**Buy the GC3** if you want Foresight's numbers and will live in Premier and the Foresight app, if half your sessions happen on a range where a 5lb box and a two-year warranty count, or if the alternative was a Launch Pro plus Silver for years. Buy it while the sale price is live. Our log says Foresight puts prices back.

**Buy the EYE MINI** if GSPro is the reason for the room, if you want an iPad app and putting analysis without a PC on range days, or if $1,000 is real money once the screen, mat and projector are priced. Our earlier [EYE MINI against the Launch Pro](https://ifrothgolf.com/read/uneekor-eye-mini-vs-launch-pro-price-cut) still holds on the subscription side.

**Skip both** if you only practise outdoors, where cheaper radar does the job, or if either one would eat the budget for the rest of the bay. The [best launch monitors](https://ifrothgolf.com/guides/best-launch-monitors) guide covers the rest of the field, and the [Launch Monitor Finder](https://ifrothgolf.com/tools/launch-monitor-finder) will narrow it by room and software.

## The takeaway

The Foresight GC3 is on sale at $4,000 on Foresight's US store and at PlayBetter, down from $7,000, with no published end date.

## FAQ

### How much is the Foresight GC3 now, and is the price cut permanent?

Foresight's own US store and PlayBetter both list the GC3 at 3,999 US dollars against a previous 6,999, a cut of about 43 per cent, with no end date published. Foresight labels it a sale. Our log of PlayBetter's prices shows the same unit fell to 5,999 on 5 September 2026 and went back to 6,999 by 20 September, so a cut like this can reverse.

### Do the Foresight GC3 and Uneekor EYE MINI measure the same club data?

At this tier, yes. Foresight lists club head speed, smash factor, club path and angle of attack for the GC3. Uneekor's spec table for the EYE MINI lists club speed, club path, smash factor and attack angle, with face angle and impact point marked as not measured. Neither unit reads face angle. Both include club data on their free software tier.

### Which is cheaper for GSPro, the Foresight GC3 or the Uneekor EYE MINI?

The EYE MINI. GSPro on the GC3 needs Foresight+ Gold at 599 US dollars a year plus GSPro's own 250-dollar licence, so 849 a year. On the EYE MINI, Uneekor's Pro tier at 199 a year opens the third-party connector, so 449 a year with GSPro. Over five years, including the hardware, that comes to about 8,244 dollars for the GC3 against 5,244 for the EYE MINI.

### Does the Foresight GC3 still come with no subscription?

Not in the way it used to. Foresight now sells software through Foresight+, billed yearly. A new GC3 includes a 30-day trial of Foresight+ Gold with Course Pass Pro, and the free tier keeps ball data, club data and 10 sessions of history. Existing FSX licences keep working, according to Foresight's FAQ. Course play needs Silver plus a Course Pass, and GSPro needs Gold.
