New drivers on the conforming list

New drivers show up on the R&A and USGA conforming list, usually before they launch. We read the official list every Monday and show every head submitted since 2025, brand by brand, with its lofts and whether a left-handed version is listed.

Official list effective 5 October 2026 · 292 models submitted since 2025, out of 9,689 heads on the full list · source: The R&A · also as /api/conforming-drivers

The list tells you what's coming. These are the current drivers from the same brands that you can buy today.

How to read it

A listing says a head exists, conforms, and comes in these lofts. It is not a launch date. Brands submit months ahead, and tour prototypes, colourways and Japan-only models sit on the same list, so a new name is an early signal to watch, not something you can buy yet. For dated launches with prices, see the release calendar.

FAQ

What is the conforming driver list?
It is the official list of driver heads that The R&A and the USGA have tested and found to conform to the Rules of Golf. A driver has to be on it to be used in any competition that adopts the list as a condition, which the professional tours and elite amateur events do. The governing bodies republish it every Monday.
Does a driver on the list mean it is about to launch?
No. A listing only means the head was submitted and conforms. Brands submit months before a launch, and the list also holds tour prototypes, colourways, Japan-only models and heads that never go on general sale. Treat a new listing as an early signal, and wait for the brand to announce a date and price.
What do labels like (Version 2) or (TD) mean?
They are the manufacturer's own labels for heads that differ in markings or construction from another entry with the same name. The list doesn't define them. (LH) is the exception: it always marks a left-handed head, which is how we show left-handed availability.
How do I check whether my own driver conforms?
Find its manufacturer and model on the official list and match every marking on the sole, crown and face to the entry. Look-alike heads can differ by a single marking, so if anything doesn't match, check with The R&A or the USGA directly. Heads made before 1999 are exempt.
