Here's how ifrothgolfworks: when you click a link to Amazon, PlayBetter or certain other retailers and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is exactly the same as if you'd found the product yourself.

That commission is how this site pays for itself, and it never changes what I recommend. Plenty of products listed here link to retailers who pay me nothing at all, because they were the genuinely better pick. If something isn't worth your money, it doesn't get listed — there's no "sponsored placement", no pay-to-play, and brands can't buy their way in.

Links that earn a commission are marked as sponsored to search engines and carry a note near the buy button. Links that earn us nothing get neither — if there's no disclosure beside a buy button, we aren't being paid for that click.

Where we quote a price it's an approximate guide, not a live figure: gear pricing moves constantly and we'd only ever be out of date. Product cards and listings deliberately carry no price at all. The real price is the one on the retailer's page when you click through.
