Golf in France
France's headline golf trip is Le Golf National near Paris — host of the 2018 Ryder Cup and the 2024 Olympics, and, unusually for a course of that stature, genuinely open to the public.
Playable much of the year; best late spring–early autumn (May–Sep)

France doesn't top most golfers' bucket lists — but it holds one of the most accessible major-championship venues on earth. Le Golf National, on the edge of Paris near Versailles, hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup and the 2024 Olympic golf, and its stadium course L'Albatros welcomes public play: a rare chance to walk the same water-lined holes the world's best played for the Cup.
We start with Le Golf National, paired naturally with a Paris and Versailles city trip, and will build out from there.
