The ifrothgolf review
The SP0068 is adidas Sport's everyday rectangular frame: a lightweight injected full-rim build with polycarbonate Kolor-Up lenses, full UV protection, sweat-draining adjustable nose pads and vented temples. It sits between a wraparound performance shield and a casual lifestyle pair, so it works for a round of golf without screaming athletic eyewear when you take it into town.
What's great
The lens contrast genuinely helps you pick out the ball and read greens in flat light, and the frame is light enough that you forget it is on. The nose pads and temple venting do a real job in summer heat, cutting down the fogging and slipping that ruins cheaper sport glasses. The styling is the quiet win here, it is one of the few sport frames you can wear all day without looking like you are about to run a marathon.
Worth knowing
It is not a true wraparound, so peripheral coverage and wind protection are weaker than a full shield style, and the base SP0068 lenses are not polarised unless you specifically buy the grey/smoke 20D variant. Pricing is all over the place depending on colourway and retailer, with some stockists clearing single colours far below others, so shop around before paying full RRP. Fit runs to a medium-large face and the 57mm lens can look big on smaller heads.
The verdict
A sensible, comfortable sport sunglass that earns its keep more on versatility than on outright on-course performance. If you want maximum wraparound coverage go elsewhere, but for a single pair that covers golf, driving and daily wear, the SP0068 is an easy recommend, just hunt for the polarised variant and a fair price.
