Guerin Rife spent a decade making his name on face milling, and the EZPZ is him taking the opposite side of the biggest argument in putting. Everywhere else the industry is chasing zero torque, which it achieves by running the shaft axis through or near the head's centre of gravity so the face barely wants to rotate at all. The EZPZ leaves the shaft where a normal putter has it — traditional offset, familiar look at address — and instead uses a forward-leaning hosel that points slightly toe-ward of the centre of gravity, putting about 60 per cent of the head's mass below the shaft axis. The result is a heel-down balance that gives the heel more momentum through the stroke and slows face rotation without freezing it. Evnroll's claim is a "square zone" twice the size of a conventional putter's. The head itself is a 100 per cent milled high-MOI mallet, a light 6061 aluminium chassis with a heavy 303 stainless weight wing at the back, and it comes standard with the UST Mamiya ALL-IN multi-material shaft. The honest read: this is aimed squarely at the large majority of golfers who putt with a slight arc and bounced off zero-torque putters because the setup felt alien. If a DF3 or a Spider ZT already suits you, you don't need this. If you tried one and hated how it sat, this is the idea rebuilt around your stroke rather than against it.
