Iceland is one of the most golf-obsessed countries on earth per head of population — and its trump card is daylight. In high summer the sun barely sets, so you can play a full round at midnight, a genuinely surreal bucket-list experience that draws golfers from around the world to the Arctic Open in Akureyri each June.
