Megan Khang's WITB: PXG throughout, with two discontinued hybrids
Khang has played PXG since her rookie year, but the two clubs bridging her long game are TaylorMade GAPR hybrids that left the shops years ago. Every club, club by club.
By Jordan Hale · Equipment Writer
Megan Khang's bag is PXG from the driver to the wedges — a Lightning Tour driver at 9°, a 0341 X GEN4 fairway at 13°, prototype irons from the 5-iron and three Sugar Daddy Milled III wedges. Two clubs break the run in the middle: a pair of TaylorMade GAPR HI hybrids at 19° and 22°. The putter is a Scotty Cameron Newport GSS prototype and the ball a Titleist Pro V1x.
Khang has been with the brand almost her whole career. As she puts it: "I switched to PXG in my rookie year and I never turned back." Bernardus was another Solheim Cup appearance for her as the United States lost 13–15.

The story of the bag
Two 2018 hybrids inside an otherwise current bag is the thing worth noticing. GAPR HI was a short-lived TaylorMade line and it is long gone from retail, yet Khang has carried the 19° and 22° through several PXG release cycles — and PXG makes hybrids she could have switched into.
The composite shafts are the other theme. Aerotech SteelFiber FC runs through the irons and all three wedges, which is a lighter, more damped setup than the steel most of her Solheim team-mates play.
Almost nothing in this bag is buyable. Prototype irons, a GSS prototype putter and discontinued hybrids mean the only row here with a catalogue link is the golf ball — which is an honest reflection of a tour bag rather than a gap in our coverage.
