The zero-torque putter will not fix you
The physics are real. Your three-putts were never about physics.

Golf has a new religion and the good news is you can buy your way in. Zero torque. The face doesn't want to twist any more. The engineers are right, the robots putt beautifully with it, and the takeover is genuinely happening, on tour and in your pro shop. I'm not here to argue with any of that.
I'm here about the three-putt you had on 14 last Saturday.
Because let's replay it. You hit a decent lag that came up six feet short, because you looked at a 40-footer and saw 30. Then you missed the six-footer on the low side, because you decided it was straight while you were still walking to the ball, angry about the lag. At no point in that sequence did the putter's torque get a vote.

This is the oldest trade in golf. A real engineering improvement arrives, and we quietly hand it a job it never applied for. The DF3 will genuinely start your ball closer to your line. That's the product. Reading the green is still your job. Picking a line before you've seen the putt is still your fault. The four-footer with the tenner on it is still, and I'm sorry about this, entirely yours.
The bit nobody wants to hear is that the putts you're losing live in the part of the game that's free. Pace. Reading it from below the hole. Not putting while annoyed. You can't spend money on any of that, which is why nobody does.
So yes. Try one. It might be the best putter you've ever held, plenty of people mean it when they say it changed everything, and the engineering deserves the hype it's getting.
Just know that next Saturday, on 14, the low side is still waiting. It's seen the new putter. It's not worried.

I bought a putting mat in December. It dries jumpers now.
A three-putt story in three acts, none of them on a green.
