The REVA is Callaway's women's ball with an honest-to-goodness engineering hook: it's oversized. Still fully conforming to the rules of golf, but built at the top of the permitted size so a moderate swing gets more consistent contact, easier launch and more forgiveness on the strikes that don't come out of the middle. That's the whole pitch — this is the maximum-help ball in Callaway's line, aimed at newer players and smoother swing speeds who want the game to feel less punishing while they build consistency. Feel is soft, flight is high, and misses stay playable. The honest caveats: confident ball-strikers will find it gives up workability and greenside spin compared with a standard ball, and once your speed and strike sharpen up you'll likely graduate to a Supersoft or an ERC Soft. As a first serious ball, or the ball that makes golf friendlier, it does its one job properly.

What reviewers say

New and moderate-speed players praise how easy it is to launch and how playable misses stay; stronger strikers find it limiting.
