The PLD Milled DS72 is a face-balanced mid-mallet from Ping's premium Putting Lab Design range, milled from a solid block of forged 303 stainless steel over more than four hours. It has a wide top rail and a ball-width cavity framed by clean heel-and-toe ballasts, a double-bend shaft with full-shaft offset, and a Deep AMP (aggressive milling pattern) face. Ping builds it as a straight-stroke model, so it suits players whose putter face stays square rather than arcing open and shut. It's Viktor Hovland's preferred design, and Ping's own page now marks it Limited Availability, so check stock before you set your heart on one.
