Long-time host (2014–2023) of Denmark's DP World Tour event
The resort's championship course, comprehensively rebuilt by Danish architect Philip Spogård in 2011–12 — every green relaid, bunkers reshaped and blind shots removed — into the layout that hosted Made in Denmark / Made in HimmerLand on the DP World Tour from 2014 to 2023. It rolls through lakes and forest with a genuine tournament pedigree.
The signature is the 16th, 'HimmerLand Hill', a par 3 in a natural amphitheatre that yields more holes-in-one than any other during the tournament, and there's a rare par-6 at the 11th. (Note: from 2024 the national event moved to Lübker Golf Resort — HimmerLand is the tournament's long-time former home, not the current venue.)
The Old Course is a true-parkland 18 with six par-3s, a gentler companion to the New; a 6-hole pay-and-play course by Sjørup lake (no handicap certificate needed) rounds out the resort and is ideal for families and quick loops.
