The catch is the subscription ladder: the base unit gives you ball data, and full club data plus the simulation features arrive as paid tiers. Budget for the tier you actually want from day one and the maths still works out — you're getting a meaningful share of GCQuad accuracy for a fraction of GCQuad money. Skip it if you only ever practise outdoors, where a cheaper radar unit will do.
