The LPi is Bushnell's answer to a specific question: how cheap can Foresight-grade indoor data get if you strip out everything you don't need outdoors? The answer is a compact, indoor-only unit running the same Foresight Sports measurement lineage as the Launch Pro, with FSX Play and GS Pro access sold as flexible subscriptions rather than baked into the sticker price. That subscription model is the whole story, and you should read it carefully before buying: the entry price is genuinely low for this class of accuracy, but the data packages and simulation software you'll actually want are recurring, so the three-year cost looks very different from the day-one cost. Get past that and you have a serious piece of kit — the sort of numbers that make a proper indoor bay worth building, in a box that costs less than the projector some people put in front of it. Indoor only, though: this one never goes to the range.
