The ifrothgolf review
This is the sensible starter-sim projector: the cheaper sibling of the GT2100HDR, it keeps the short throw and the bright laser but sticks to 1080p to bring the price down. For a room you can dim, that trade is easy — a bright, sharp 1080p image on an impact screen at swing distance looks great, and the short throw means it ceiling-mounts near the screen without you casting a shadow. Step up to a 4K unit later if you want the extra resolution; to get a projected course going for the least money, this is the honest pick.
What reviewers say
Owners rate the brightness and short throw for the money; the trade-off is native 1080p rather than 4K, which most don't notice on an impact screen.
