The Trad II is a classic blade from T.P. Mills, a boutique American putter maker known for hand-finished putters favoured by purists. The J.S. Design version, the head Jordan Spieth games, is handcrafted by David Mills from what the maker calls Swiss German stainless steel (SGSS): a cavity-back blade with a 357-gram head, plumber's neck and a dark flamed finish. These are sold as individual one-off pieces at four-figure prices, several times what the maker asks for its production heads. It appeals to feel players who value craftsmanship over mass-production tech, and it corrects nothing.
