The ifrothgolf review
The 2026 Apex UW is a compact utility wood that sits between a fairway wood and a driving iron, designed for a higher, more neutral flight with the control skilled players want. New for this model is a TriAxial Carbon Crown replacing the previous steel crown, plus a 41-gram Tungsten Speed Wave low and forward in the sole and a stepped sole to reduce turf drag. It's offered in 17, 19, 21 and 23-degree lofts with a bonded hosel and stock Mitsubishi Tensei Blue shaft.
