The ifrothgolf review
The S259 is Ping's tour-driven milled wedge, building on the higher spin and control of the s159 family. It uses precision wheel-cut grooves milled to different specifications by loft, tighter MicroMax grooves in the higher lofts and a wider-volume design in the lower lofts, over an 8620 carbon-steel head with an elastomer insert for feel. With six grinds across a wide loft ladder, it fits a range of turf conditions and attack angles.
