Miyu Yamashita's WITB: the Srixon bag that tied the LPGA scoring record
Yamashita won the CPKC Women's Open by nine with a 257 that equals the lowest 72-hole total in LPGA history. Every club in the bag that shot it.
By Jordan Hale · Equipment Writer
Miyu Yamashita plays Srixon metalwoods and irons, Cleveland wedges and a TaylorMade putter. The driver is a Srixon ZXi at 9°, the 3-wood and hybrid are ZX Mk II at 15° and 22°, the irons run a ZXi5 6-iron into ZXi7 from the 7-iron down, the wedges are Cleveland RTZ at 48°, 52° and 58°, and the putter is a TaylorMade Spider Tour X. The ball is a Srixon Z-Star XV.
She won the 2025 AIG Women's Open at Royal Porthcawl in her rookie LPGA season, by two from Charley Hull and Minami Katsu — her first major and her first win outside Japan. In 2026 she added the Meijer LPGA Classic in June, beating Lottie Woad in a play-off, and then the CPKC Women's Open in Edmonton by nine shots with a 23-under 257 that tied the lowest 72-hole score in LPGA Tour history. That was her fourth LPGA win in thirteen months.

We've put gear from Miyu's bag head to head:
The story of the bag
Her iron set starts at the 6-iron. Above it there is one hybrid at 22° and then the 15° fairway wood — three clubs covering everything from 3-wood distance down, which is a short long-game for a player who just won by nine shots.
Srixon and Cleveland share a parent company, so the bag is effectively one supplier through thirteen clubs with a TaylorMade putter on the end. That putter is the tell: it is the slot tour players most often keep out of a contract.
One honest gap: the published list accounts for twelve clubs — driver, 3-wood, hybrid, five irons, three wedges and the putter. No outlet names the other two, so we leave the hole visible rather than invent clubs to fill it.
A note on sourcing. Today's Golfer's per-player page for Yamashita was last updated in September 2025 and still reflects her AIG-winning setup, so the bag above comes from the August 2026 CPKC record, cross-read against that older check. Where the two agree we have followed them; no shafts are published for this bag, so none are listed.
