The ifrothgolf review

Overhead is where premium home sims are heading, and the APOGEE explains why in about three swings. Mounted to the ceiling, it clears the floor entirely: no box beside the ball to catch a shank, no repositioning between a driver and a wedge, no tripping over it when someone walks into the bay. It reads ball speed, spin, launch angles, club path and face angle without marked clubs or special balls, and it does two things most units don't — zero display delay, so the ball appears on screen at the moment it should rather than a beat later, and slow-motion impact replay after every shot. There's a laser launchpad to make alignment obvious and voice commands so you're not walking back to a keyboard. It's expensive, and it's genuinely indoor-only — this is a permanent install, not a device you carry. But for a dedicated room, the ergonomics are worth real money.
