Tom Fazio's 2016–17 rebuild of the original Robert Trent Jones Sr. course reopened in 2018 as one of the most immaculate parkland courses in Europe — lush, generous and beautifully conditioned, with the River Maigue in play on the closing stretch and modern touches like SubAir under every green. It has since climbed into the world top 100 and hosted the star-studded 2022 JP McManus Pro-Am.
In September 2027 it becomes the centre of the golf world as host of the Ryder Cup — the first in Ireland since 2006. For now it's a bucket-list resort round you can play by staying at the Manor.
How to play Adare Manor (access)
Adare Manor is a resort course, and access is primarily stay-and-play — resort guests get priority tee times, and non-resident visitor play is limited and by advance enquiry only, depending on the season and schedule. A caddie is mandatory for all golfers (at extra cost), and the course runs a seasonal opening (broadly late spring to mid-autumn), closed Mondays outside bank holidays. Green fees are premium and change year to year, so confirm the current rate and available dates directly with the resort.
