Nelly Korda plays a TaylorMade bag with two deliberate exceptions and almost no churn. The driver is a Qi4D, the fairway woods a 2023 Stealth 2 at 15° and a Qi4D at 21°, and the hybrid is a Ping G425 at 26° that has been in the bag for over 18 months. The irons are a P770 5-iron into P7CB from the 6-iron, the wedges are two MG5s plus a Titleist Vokey SM11 lob wedge, the putter is the custom TaylorMade "NK Proto" blade, and the ball is a TP5x.

She won the first two majors of the 2026 season with it. At the Chevron Championship at Memorial Park in Houston she led wire-to-wire and won by five from Patty Tavatanakit and Ruoning Yin; seven weeks later she birdied the par-5 17th at Riviera to take the U.S. Women's Open by one from Charley Hull and Gaby López. That was her fourth major, and it made her the first woman since Inbee Park in 2013 to win the year's opening two — and the first American since Betsy King in 1990.

The story of the bag

The story of this bag is how little of it moves. Korda won two majors in 2026 carrying a 2023 fairway wood and a Ping hybrid she has not touched in a year and a half — and her TaylorMade tour manager put it plainly: "There hasn't been a tour event in 18 months where she's turned up and asked to add something to her armory." The only change in the long game all year was the 7-wood, from Stealth 2 to Qi4D.

Composite shafts run through the whole scoring end. AeroTech SteelFiber i80 in the irons and i95 in all three wedges is a lighter, more damped setup than the steel most of the field plays, and she has kept it consistent rather than mixing weights between the sets.

The 58° Vokey is the one club that breaks an otherwise complete TaylorMade script, and it is the slot most contracted players keep free. A .04T grind has almost no bounce, which is a specific choice for a specific short game rather than a sponsorship gap.
