Scottie Scheffler's WITB: what's in the world No. 1's bag

The clubs behind the most dominant golfer on the planet — including the Qi4D driver he swapped in a week before the play-offs and then won the FedEx Cup with.

Scottie Scheffler plays a TaylorMade bag with a Titleist wedge-and-ball twist, and for two years the story was what he refused to change. That ended in August 2026. A week before the FedEx Cup Play-offs he put a TaylorMade Qi4D driver in the bag in place of the 2024 Qi10 he had defended all season, won the FedEx St. Jude Championship by eight shots with it, and closed out the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup on the same head.

Everything below the driver is still the setup he trusts: a Qi10 3-wood, a Qi4D 7-wood at 21 degrees, P7TW blades and Vokey wedges from the SM8 and SM9 eras that are a generation or two behind current.

The story of the bag

The driver change is the exception that proves the rule. Scheffler resisted the Qi4D for most of 2026, then switched a week out from the play-offs — part of the reasoning being that he wanted to be settled on a new head rather than face a forced change later — and immediately won by eight in Memphis before taking the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup with it.

Below the driver it is still a study in restraint. The 3-wood is a 2024 Qi10, the driving iron is a Srixon utility, and the wedges are SM8- and SM9-generation grinds rather than the current Vokeys. At the very top, feel and consistency beat the spec sheet.
