The Qi4D 7-wood is the tour-oriented, lower-spinning member of TaylorMade's Qi4D fairway family, with a more compact head than the standard Qi4D. A carbon crown frees up weight low and forward for a penetrating flight, and the higher-lofted 7-wood profile makes long approaches and tight lies easier to launch than a long iron. The 7-wood has become a common tour swap for a 3- or 4-iron.
