Shane Lowry is a Srixon/Cleveland staff player and, as of The Open 2026, plays a Srixon ZXi LS driver (9°) into a combo iron set — ZXi5 long irons blended into more compact ZXi7 blades — all on KBS Tour 130 X shafts. He tees up the Srixon Z-Star XV ball.

Like many Srixon players he isn't on a full-bag deal, so two TaylorMade clubs sneak in: a fairway wood and the Spider Tour Z putter he moved to from his old Odyssey. His short game runs on three Cleveland RTZ wedges.

The story of the bag

Lowry's 2026 bag is a near-full Srixon/Cleveland setup reflecting his Dunlop Sports staff deal: the ZXi LS driver, ZXi utility, ZXi5/ZXi7 combo irons and Z-Star XV ball are all Srixon, with three Cleveland RTZ wedges handling the short game. The headline exceptions are a TaylorMade fairway wood and the Spider Tour Z putter he moved to after years with an Odyssey.

It's a very different bag from the one he won The Open with at Portrush in 2019 — newer iron and driver generations throughout — but the through-line is his loyalty to Cleveland wedges and a workable combo iron set. Two slots vary across reputable sources: the fairway wood (a more recent Qi4D 16.5° versus an earlier Qi35 18°) and the exact utility-iron shaft.
