Shane Lowry is a Srixon/Cleveland staff player and won the 2026 Amgen Irish Open at Doonbeg in September by a record 11 shots with a brand-new Srixon ZXi RKT LS+ driver (9°) in the bag. Below it sits a combo iron set — ZXi5 long irons blended into more compact ZXi7 blades — and he tees up the Srixon Z-Star XV ball.

Like many Srixon players he isn't on a full-bag deal, so three TaylorMade clubs sneak in: a Qi4D 3-wood and 7-wood and the Spider Tour Z putter he moved to from his old Odyssey. His short game runs on Cleveland wedges, now two of the newer RTZ 2 heads plus an older RTZ lob wedge.

The story of the bag

Re-verified on 14 September 2026, the day after Lowry won the Amgen Irish Open at Doonbeg by 11 shots, the biggest margin in the event's history. Golf Monthly's winning-bag check and Today's Golfer's updated list agree club for club below the driver. Three things changed from his summer bag: the Srixon ZXi RKT LS+ driver in place of the ZXi LS, a TaylorMade Qi4D 7-wood in place of the ZXiU utility iron, and Cleveland's newer RTZ 2 heads in the 50° and 56°.

Two loose ends. The driver's name varies by outlet — golf.com calls it the ZXi RKT LS+, the head Ryan Fox won The Open with, while Today's Golfer has the RKT LS and Golf Monthly just a Srixon prototype. And Today's Golfer still lists the ZXiU 20° alongside the new 7-wood, which would make fifteen clubs; Golf Monthly's fourteen-club list leaves it out, so we have too.

The through-line from the bag he won The Open with at Portrush in 2019 is loyalty to Cleveland wedges and a workable combo iron set. The headline exceptions to the Dunlop staff deal are the two TaylorMade fairway woods and the Spider Tour Z putter he moved to after years with an Odyssey.
