The 2023 U.S. Open champion went unsigned for 2026, cherry-picked across TaylorMade, Titleist and Ping, and won the BMW Championship with the result. Every club, with the week-to-week changes called out.

Wyndham Clark, the 2023 U.S. Open champion, plays as an equipment free agent in 2026 and mixes brands rather than committing to a staff deal. He won the BMW Championship in August with a TaylorMade Qi4D driver, two Ping G440 Max fairway woods, Titleist T200/T100 combo irons and Vokey wedges, a Ping Scottsdale Tec putter and the Titleist Pro V1x. The same fourteen were listed for his Presidents Cup debut in September.

Because he's unsigned, the bag has shifted across the season. The driver went down to 8° on a Titan Yellow shaft, and the TaylorMade 3-wood gave way to a pair of Ping fairways, but since August the setup has held still.

The story of the bag

The headline is Clark's 2026 status as an equipment free agent. Having played a largely Titleist bag through 2025, he entered the year unsigned. He now has a TaylorMade driver, Ping fairway woods and putter, and Titleist through the scoring clubs. Most of the tinkering came before August: the driver dropped from 9° to 8° on a Titan Yellow shaft, and the TaylorMade 3-wood gave way to two Ping G440 Max fairways at 15° and 18°.

The most consequential change was into the Ping Scottsdale Tec putter, which he has publicly credited for steadying his putting. His scoring clubs stay firmly Titleist: T100 short irons, Vokey wedges and the Pro V1x ball.

Re-verified on 6 October 2026. GolfWRX's listings from 18 August, the BMW Championship win on 23 August and the Presidents Cup U.S. team on 24 September all name the same fourteen clubs: one driver, two fairway woods, six irons, four wedges and a putter. The only difference between them is the 60° wedge grind. The Presidents Cup page lists the bags players were expected to use and says they would be adjusted for any changes at Medinah.
