Robert MacIntyre's WITB: the left-hander's mixed bag
A Titleist-led setup with a battered 10-year-old TaylorMade 3-wood he won't give up. Every club in the Scottish lefty's 2026 bag.
By Jordan Hale · Equipment Writer
Robert MacIntyre, the left-handed Scot, plays a Titleist-led setup with a few TaylorMade holdouts. As of The Open 2026 his key clubs are a Titleist GTS2 driver (9°), Titleist 620 CB irons, a spread of Vokey wedges and a Titleist Pro V1x ball.
His bag was in flux through 2026: he moved into the new GTS2 driver at the Valero Texas Open in April, then switched putters and balls at the Charles Schwab Challenge in May.

The story of the bag
MacIntyre is one of the tour's more independent equipment users — Titleist heads the bag (driver, irons, Vokey wedges, ball), but he keeps TaylorMade in the fairway-wood and hybrid slots, most notably a battered, roughly 10-year-old AeroBurner 3-wood. The GTS2 driver, added at the Valero in April 2026, was his biggest change in years and he credited it with 9-10 extra yards.
Two more swaps landed at the Charles Schwab in May 2026: into a heavily customised Scotty Cameron 9.5R and up to the firmer Pro V1x. As a lefty, his choices are always limited to left-handed availability, which makes the volume of 2026 tinkering notable.
