Unsigned since parting with TaylorMade after eighteen years, Johnson now plays a Titleist driver above TaylorMade woods, his old DJ-proto irons and Cleveland wedges.

Dustin Johnson has been an equipment free agent since parting with TaylorMade in 2024 after 18 years, and the bag shows it. The driver is a Titleist GTS2 at 10° with a Fujikura Ventus Black 6 X shaft; everything from the 3-wood down through the irons is still TaylorMade, including a set of P730 DJ Proto blades built specifically for him, and the ball remains a TaylorMade TP5x.
The stand-out feature is the top of the bag: no long irons at all above the 5-iron, and three fairway woods instead — a 16.5° 3HL, a 21° 7-wood and a 24° 9-wood. For a player who spent a career being the longest man in most fields, a 9-wood is a notable concession to keeping the ball in front of him and landing it soft.

Johnson has been a free agent on clubs since leaving TaylorMade in 2024 after 18 years, which is why the bag mixes Titleist at the driver and (per LIV) Cleveland at the wedges with TaylorMade through the middle.
