Brooks Koepka's WITB: the free agent's mixed bag

The Srixon split turned one of golf's most brand-loyal players into an equipment free agent. Here's the Titleist-and-more setup he built himself in 2026.

Brooks Koepka plays a Titleist GT3 driver, a Titleist Pro V1x ball and a genuinely mixed, free-agent bag. The story of 2026 is his split from Srixon/Cleveland at the end of April, which turned one of golf's most brand-loyal 'if it works, it works' players into an equipment free agent overnight.

Since the split he swapped his Srixon ball for the Pro V1x and his Cleveland wedges for Titleist Vokey, but stubbornly kept the clubs he trusts — an old Nike Vapor Pro 3-iron and his Srixon ZX7 Mk II irons — even with no contract requiring them. He also moved to a TaylorMade Spider Tour X mallet, ending years with a Scotty Cameron blade.

The story of the bag

The defining change was equipment freedom: Dunlop Sports (Srixon/Cleveland) and Koepka mutually ended their multi-year partnership at the end of April 2026. That freed him from ball and wedge obligations, and he moved to the Pro V1x and Vokey SM11 wedges. Tellingly, the self-described non-tinkerer kept his Srixon ZX7 Mk II irons and old Nike Vapor Pro 3-iron anyway — proof the changes were about what he likes, not what a contract dictates.

The other notable move came earlier: after a rough putting week, Koepka abandoned his long-time Scotty Cameron blade for a TaylorMade Spider Tour X L-Neck mallet at the WM Phoenix Open in February — the same head Scheffler has dominated with. The Titleist GT3 driver and the near-decade-old M2 Tour HL 3-wood are long-standing holdovers.
